At Busy bees we provide three meals per day consisting of AM and PM snacks and a cooked lunch.

Our menu is made up from the recommendations of the Canada food guide to be sure your child is getting a healthy variety of vegetables, fruits, protein and whole grains. **UPDATED MENU AS OF JULY 12TH 2020**

Week 1

Monday

AM Snack - Oatmeal with milk, peaches or berries, Water.


Lunch - Turkey or chicken whole wheat tortilla wraps with lettuce and grated cheese.
Mashed potato, Milk or water.



PM snack - Steamed carrots, broccoli or cucumber with veggie dip, cubed cheese, water.

Tuesday

AM Snack -  Whole wheat blueberry muffins, bananas, water.

Lunch - Goulash with whole grain pasta, tomato beef sauce, diced tomatoes, onions & spinach, Milk or water.


PM snack - Bits and bites, (Veggie and cheese crackers, oatmeal or whole wheat cereals), Orange slices, water.

Wednesday

AM Snack - Yogurt or custard, apple slices, water.


Lunch - Oatmeal pancakes, eggs (boiled or scrambled), peaches and oranges, milk or water.


PM snack - Whole wheat crackers, sliced cheese, tuna, water.

Thursday

AM Snack - Cereal and milk, orange slices, water.


Lunch - Whole wheat grilled cheese sandwiches, beans in tomato sauce, steamed broccoli, milk or water.


PM snack - Melba toast, fruit puree, apple slices, water.

Friday

AM Snack - Whole wheat cinnamon toast, apple sauce, water.

Lunch - Whole grain spaghetti with tomato beef sauce, diced tomatoes, onions, carrots, spinach, milk or water.


PM snack - Whole wheat banana bread, pineapple or pears, water.

Week 2

Monday

AM Snack - Bagel or English muffin, orange slices, water.


Lunch - Chicken Alfredo whole grain pasta bake, peas, carrots and diced onions, milk or water.


PM snack - Apple sauce, whole wheat crackers, water.

Tuesday

AM Snack - Oatmeal or bran muffins, apple slices, water.


Lunch - Whole wheat cinnamon french toast, chickpeas, berries, milk or water.



PM snack - Steamed carrots, broccoli or peppers with veggie dip, cubed cheese, water.

Wednesday

AM Snack - Cereal and milk, bananas, water.


Lunch - Whole grain brown rice with tomato beef sauce, diced tomatoes, onions and spinach, milk or water.


PM snack - Bits and bites, (veggie and cheese crackers, oatmeal or whole wheat cereals), oranges slices, water.

Thursday

AM Snack - Whole wheat toast, apple slices, water.


Lunch - Chicken noodle soup with whole grain pasta, peas, diced carrots, onions, turnip, milk or water.



PM snack - Yogurt or custard, oranges slices, water.

Friday

AM Snack - Oatmeal with milk, apple slices, water.


Lunch - Whole wheat sandwiches (cheese and tuna or ham), cucumber or carrot rounds, apple slices, milk or water.

PM snack - Carrot or zucchini muffins, pineapple or pears, water.
